Stupid Cancer is proud to announce the call for speakers for CancerCon 2020 to be held April 16 - 19, 2020 in Seattle, WA. CancerCon is Stupid Cancer’s annual conference for young adults affected by cancer, when hundreds of young adult patients, survivors, caregivers, non-profit professionals, and health professionals gather for a life-changing weekend of plenaries, workshops, breakout sessions, and social activities.

Stupid Cancer is looking for dynamic speakers to conduct open, interactive, and age-appropriate sessions tailored to meet the unique and unmet needs of the young adult cancer community.

The deadline to submit for the Call for Speakers is August 25th, 2019. All submissions will receive notifications, regardless of status, by early October.

Those selected to present will receive free registration for the conference. Please note, as a nonprofit, Stupid Cancer is not able to cover travel or lodging expenses for speakers. All potential speakers submitting a proposal should understand that if selected, they will be responsible for providing their own travel and lodging accommodations in Seattle.

All breakout sessions are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes in length. If selected, the format and length of your presentation will be prescribed by Stupid Cancer.
